Pop Up Gallery and Studio about to open in Barnoldswick!

From Monday 6th May to Saturday the 11th I shall be turning the Town Council’s shop on Frank Street (just off the square) into a gallery, and because I do not have time to take a week off from painting it will also be a studio. I have Saltaire Arts Trail in a few weeks, followed by Art in the Pen Thirsk then a solo exhibition in Farfield Mill, Sedbergh. So, if you want to see me daub some paint, please call in. I am happy to talk about techniques etc.

I will have originals, prints and cards for sale. But it will also be a free entry gallery with browsers welcome. Cards are £2 each or 3 for £5 and prints start from £15. I have also been framing small signed prints in upcycled frames for ‘affordable art’. I buy the frames from chairity shops and second hand shops. sand them down and paint/sand/wax them. It is my contribution to recycling, along with using second hand carriers at events etc, instead of having brand new ones printed with a posh logo!

just bought some more cards from Hebden Bridge market I really like the moodiness in the pictures you manage to create and the beauty of the english wildlife. I would be interested in any original pictures. Can you give me a shout if and when you have anything of your original paintings available to purchase.

Thank you so much Imogen, that’s brightened my day! All my unsold originals are for sale. If you look at the website, it should say on each picture if sold/unsold/price etc. You can always give me a call (0777 3583072) if you have any questions, or email aly.telfer@gmail.com. I am just about to set up a website I can sell from more effeciently than this website or my FB shop (facebook.com/streamwalk). Would you like me to add you to my mailing list for events etc? Thank you, Alyson
