Acrylic on Panel, 36″ x 48″ Sold..

Also available as a limited edition (25) signed giclee print for £75.

This piece is unframed and intended to stay so. I had it on my wall supported by four brass picture hook nails – above and below it, not through it – and that is the look I prefer. I like it really flat and stark against the wall.

This was the first piece I both started and finished at the new studio. I am hoping it is the beginning of larger and bolder pieces. In the summer I walked the dog from Foulridge to Barnoldswick along the canal. It was a very misty morning but the sun was burning through. The pastel ‘Sun burning through early morning mist’ (below) was also from this walk, and I feel that there will be others. This bullock was in the hedgerow between the canal path and the field and suddenly veered away as the dog and I were passing by.
