Ned in The Downs

This is oil on canvas paper and was painted a couple of years ago. It is currently in the exhibition at Hay on Wye. I normally prefer Northern landscapes but have made an exception for The South Downs as they are just so yummy. I have also done a couple of drawings using soluble pastel of the downs. I’m hoping to have a holiday there in the summer so I think there are more Downs pieces to yet emerge.
